Ada's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ada's Story...
Ada is an adorable wrinkly little puppy. She has had bilateral entropian and cherry eye repair in her short life and will need a family familiar with the breed and these conditions. She is very sweet and does well with large dogs, small dogs, children and while she wants to love on the cat the cat would very much appreciate if she would stop her efforts!

Ada initially was surrendered to a local shelter due to her family not being able to afford her surgical costs. Initially we planned to return her to the family, but after faced with the cost of her repair and the potential for further surgical intervention needed as an adult, her family decided they no longer wanted to pursue her return. Now she is available for adoption.

Ada's Adoption fee is $450. If you are interested in adopting Ada please visit our website and fill out an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ada, a Albuquerque Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Albuquerque, or seeking a Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Albuquerque.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albuquerque already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albuquerque breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albuquerque paves the way for another one to be saved.
