My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sgt. Gunnie and I am a small Coonhound mix male that is about 18 months old and I only weigh 40 pounds. I am not a big eater and I am active so I keep my slim build at all times. I am a dog that likes to know what is going on all around me. I am a scent Hound and I love to check out all the creatures that have come in my yard during the day or night. I am a friendly dog that gets along with all other dogs and even an indoor cat. If there are strange outdoor cats roaming around, I might chase them just so you know. I am housetrained, crate trained and my foster mom can leave me loose inside during the day just hanging out on the sofa with no accidents or destruction. I think that I would thrive best in a home with another dog and lots of fun things going on. I really do not want to be someone’s first time dog because I am unique in all my breed traits and desires. I would be a good running partner and I do love to be around the people in my family. I am not a hyper dog but instead I have a calm sense about me. I do need my exercise time and I need someone that will teach me things in life.
