Meet JoJo!
JoJo is a three-and-a-half month-old pit bull mix and weighs about 25 lbs. She has hazel eyes with a matching gray and tan brindle short haired coat with white chest and paws. She LOVES to cuddle with humans, cats and dogs! If one of her foster family members sits on the couch, JoJo is always happy to join in!
She has a fantastic wiggly butt, and happily greets her foster parents with it when they come home. She loves humans of all ages and always wants to be nearby. JoJo is playful and enjoys romping with her older canine foster and feline siblings! They are both doing a great job helping JoJo to learn her play manners.
JoJo responds well to correction and is eager to please. She loves to play fetch outside. She's great on leash, and seems to enjoy her walks. She sleeps in a crate at night, and when needed during the daytime. Potty training is coming along, but she does still have the occasional accident. She would do well with any family, but probably best in a home that is able to give her lots of attention.

About Canine Cupids
Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
