Maggie's Story...
Miss M is currently accepting applications for her forever person. A devoted companion, she is seeking an individual who is home most of the day and enjoys having a lap warmer. A retired person or person would be ideal for this social little lady. Miss M insists on participating in all activities, including watching tv, doing housework, and generally being able to keep an eye on her person to make sure they are under her protection, at all times. Miss M will only consider people who are willing to maintain the lifestyle to which she was accustomed, before her people brought home that noisy furless baby that she found so incredibly irritating. Her requirements: a person that wants fierce loyalty and constant companionship, and that does not have any small furless creatures running about. A indoor home where short walks or very brief outdoor runs happen daily. An environment where ear scratches and tummy rubs are a part of normal everyday life. Miss M enjoys the company of other dogs in her home, as long as it does not infringe on her need to be the center of attention. She is also enjoys cats, but only the ones who have a good sense of humor about occasionally being chased. Miss M is the loyal, best friend type of dog that most people dream of when they seek a new pet. The person or persons that make her their own will have found a best friend for life.

If you can give Ms. M a forever home please fill out an application for her, she is 8 and if adopted thru Savin Juice her new owners will get a Senior Wellness Package from Evergreen Veterinary Hospital free of charge, a $599 value, check out their website for all the details

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Salem Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Salem, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
