Schuster-- Nice!'s Story...

Such a handsome boy! Schuster is a 2 1/2 year old Shih Tzu weighing about 18#. He was an owner surrender when the landlord decided no pets allowed.

He is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. His tail is always wagging and he enjoys being around people.

He is house trained and crate trained, although we don't know if a crate is necessary for him.

Schuster deserves a home where he will be loved forever, is that you?

This dog's adoption fee is $300 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the Avid microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Schuster-- Nice!, a Wyoming Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Wyoming, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Wyoming.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wyoming already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wyoming breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wyoming paves the way for another one to be saved.
