Bella's Story...
Hi my name is Bella and I am about 5 years old. Unfortunately my mom who adopted me found herself homeless and she could no longer take care of me or my brother. So now I am "homeless" too (but I do live with a very nice foster mom who is taking care of me) until a forever home is found. I do not growl or bite at strangers, but I am a bit scared in new surroundings and will shake until I am comfortable. I like to run around and play and am pretty active. I love to go for walks and car rides with the person that I love and will snuggle up when watching TV.

If you would like to meet me please e-mail stacy@k9spirit.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Fountain Valley Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Fountain Valley, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Fountain Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fountain Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fountain Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fountain Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
