Autumn & Summer's Story...
Summer and Autumn are gorgeous and loving, seven-month-old, sibling black cats looking for a loving guardian – preferably together.

Summer is a handsome male with gorgeous golden eyes and small white markings in his coat. He is so sweet and affectionate. He doesn’t want to leave your lap. He is also great with other cats including his sister Autumn.

Autumn is a beautiful female with has lighter golden eyes and an equally lovely disposition. She is always purring. She and her brother are so tolerant and handle-able that they let us dress them up and pose them!

They are living in a foster home with multiple cats where they get along with everyone … people of all ages included.

They are very healthy, neutered/spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and micro-chipped.

Their adoption fee of $95 each benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. They are living in a foster in Libertyville, Illinois. To meet Summer and Autumn, please contact ForeverFurballs@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn & Summer, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
