My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello my name is Kirby I'm about 9 yrs old, a happy healthy 15 lb Yorkie. I don't shed and don't mind being brushed and I’m looking for a quiet home . I get along with just about everyone but what I really want is a constant companion. I absolutely love car rides and lazy days! I need to be able to sleep on foot of the bed with my new mom and or dad. I will bark when I need to potty and I walk on a leash very nicely. I will also stand by my dish and bark to let you know it's breakfast and dinner time... I do ok with kids but don't want to live with them on a daily basis. I don't mind cats or other dogs but I have no desire to play…I really just want to lay by my person and be close.

Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks.
