Hi my name's Sammi, and I’m approximately 5 years old. My foster mommy and daddy don't understand why I didn't have a home because I am such a good girl.
I am not your normal rescue beagle as I am completely potty trained and haven't had one single accident!! I will even go lie down inside my crate with no fuss. I am completely crate trained and find comfort in my crate, especially when there are extra blankets in it!
I do love to eat and will try my best sad face when you are eating to get you to share, but then again I am a beagle we all do that!! I may get into your garbage can or other sources of food if you don't keep a watchful eye on me! My foster parents tried at first to feed me hard crunchy food, but they didn’t know my past as I prefer wet food. My beagle sister and dachshund brother have taught me when it's treat time and I learned that time rather quickly! I will push my limits on begging so you have to establish what is right and wrong with me right away.
I like to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window or grab any available comfy chair and snuggle under the blankets. I will sleep in my bed but I prefer to sleep in a human bed where everybody else is!!
I am a great rider in the car and I love to go for rides. In fact the day my foster mommy picked me up, I went to sleep right away. I'm a little stubborn on a leash while going for walks. My nose takes over and I want to follow every scent. I am not a big fan of rain and prefer to keep my princess status! I really am not that active and prefer to hang out with my family, although I do like to play and run around in the backyard !!
I'm a silly girl and I love back scratches and tummy rubs! I like to bark when my foster siblings bark or when I want attention but other than that I am pretty quiet beagle.
