Meet Lizzie, an 8-or-9-year-old Shepherd mix who recently arrived at Lily?s Legacy from a three week stay in a county shelter. This sweet, tail-wagging girl was a shelter favorite. She was found as a stray and is still trying to figure out what happened to her, but has nothing but love in her heart for everyone she meets. She enjoys chest and belly rubs, and hanging out on the biggest pile of soft cushions she can find. She had a great check up at the vet, and is in good shape except for an extra 10 to 15 pounds that she needs to lose. She will make a wonderful family pet and is hoping for a forever family to come find her soon!
