My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet beautiful and lively beagle babe Geneva! She is 9 months old and weighs 22lbs. She might add a bit of weight but is most likely full grown. This most adorable and super smart hound has an easy-going attitude and responds well to training. Beautiful Geneva needs a new home as the person who she was living with is losing her home and is experiencing serious medical issues as well. This owner’s neighbors are RAIN friends and beagle folks- so luckily for sweet Geneva they have taken her in while we look for a great new home. New fosters Jo Anne and Gary think she is purebred and they know Beagles! They say she is learning quickly and they have started her puppy training already with Julie Forbes w/ Sensitive Dogs too! How cool and good for you is that!! Miss Geneva is crate trained and is awesome in her crate. Quiet and can easily be comfortable all night crated, Geneva is house trained and super good in their home. She is also spayed and up to date on her vaccinations as well. She will be micro-chipped before adoption. She knows her basic commands (so good for one so young); sit, shake, down, wait & learning right come. Foster parents say she is getting much better on the leash and she loves her twice daily walks! She is energetic, but not hyper and not demanding about her exercise either. She is beagle independent but also affectionate and loves her people time. Geneva acclimates quickly to new situations and will bond with you quickly. Beagles are normally great with kids, but her fosters do not have children; they have no reason to believe she won’t love your kids! Geneva gets along well with other dogs, loves visiting neighbors and other dogs throughout the neighborhood and is quite social. Geneva is as loveable and friendly as she is beautiful! You’ll want to get your applications in quickly for this amazing beagle pup! Go to www.raincityrescue.com and choose adopt tab. Her adoption fee is $300 and she is available to meet this weekend. Any questions, please email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. Miss Geneva and your active family will all love you if you make this super special and smartest girl your very own!
