Trubble's Story...
***Trubble is a courtesy listing, if you are interested in meeting him please submit an application at If he has been adopted there is a good chance there is another dachshund in rescue that might be a great match for your home*** TRUBBLE: This 10 month old cutie pie found himself in big trouble...he was at the county shelter, afraid, alone. That's no place for a little fellow to be, or to die, so we brought him here. I'm not sure how he did it, but Trubble has managed to pack 70 pounds of attitude into his 7 pound body. Actually, I'm sure he is a victim of Small Dog Syndrome and got away with tantrums and biting with his former family. He is learning the new dog rules here, and is doing well with them, but I'm sure he will test his new family for a few days....just to make sure that THESE rules are the forever rules. His new family will need to be loving, but firm. The great news is that he is still just a puppy and the perfect age to learn new house rules. Of course Trubble is neutered and UTD on vaccinations now.If you promise not to spoil him too much and to give him a forever loving home, please start the adoption process by submitting the online application. Age (years): 1 Weight (pounds): 7.5 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Coat: Smooth Color: red Adoption fee: $275

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trubble, a Chandler Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
