Ursula ($100 fee)'s Story...
Good tidings, my minions. I am the Great Ursula. I'm a lovely Persian princess looking for a wonderful forever home. I'm not as grumpy as I may appear in my photos and am actually quite pleasant to be around. I'm a little shy but my caretakers don't know much about my past. Like any proper lady I'm excellent at hiding my age so the vet estimates me to be between 4 - 7 years old. I originally came into the shelter as a stray and was adopted then returned when my new "home" didn't treat an eye infection that got so bad my eyeball ruptured. The ladies at the clinic knew how sweet I was so took me back in and had my eye removed. I'm now all healed from my surgery and ready to find a truly excellent home that knows about my Persian needs. Please email for a KITTY SPECIFIC application! Our auto response will send you email info about adopting a dog and a link to our doggy application. Once we receive your request we will send you what you need to apply! Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ursula ($100 fee), a Windham Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Windham, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
