My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This precious little 2+ year old baby girl had been roaming around a neighborhood for several days. Unable to catch her, someone set a trap for her. One of our awesome volunteers alerted us to the plight of this 10 lb. bundle of sweetness and even transported little Prim Petticoat from the shelter to the vet for DREAM. Reports from Prim's initial vet visit were heart breaking. She had loose teeth and a broken lower jaw, as if she had been kicked in the face.

Our vet said, in spite of her injury, Prim was sweet as could be and let him examine and X-ray her without a fuss! He placed a rubber band type wire to hold her lower jaw pieces together and said she should heal in about six weeks with no long term effects. She is currently being cared for by a loving foster mom and it won't be long before she'll be completely healed physically. In the mean time, she is ready to find a new forever home where she can thrive and survive, putting her painful past behind her.
