Boo's Info...

I am already spayed and good with dogs.

Boo's Story...
When I was brought to the pound I was overwhelmed. Before I could be put in a cage, I managed to run away! However, I came back for I missed having food, shelter, and people. I was very afraid of men at first. But since being at the pound I have grown to appreciate them from a distance. I am a very calm and quite dog. I need a good home where there isn't too much chaos for me to really be myself. I am a favorite amongst the volunteers who work here. We would all love to see you take me a wonderful place far from here soon!

All dogs adopted from the shelter must be spayed or neutered. Spay costs are $89-104 and neuter costs are $76-92 depending on the weight of the dog. All dogs must be vaccinated for rabies.

Act quickly to adopt Boo. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a Texarkana Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Texarkana, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Texarkana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Texarkana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Texarkana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Texarkana paves the way for another one to be saved.
