Otto is a male Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix approximately 3 years in age. He is a tiny guy, weighing in at 9 pounds full grown. Otto has been professionally groomed and has a non-shedding coat. He currently has a shorter haircut. His coat is a pretty mix of black, gray, and chocolate brown and appears to be wavy loose curls. Otto is a mellow, reserved little dog. He will most likely bond and be extremely loyal to one or two people. He responds best to a gentle touch. It is evident that he has had a rough and miserable past, full of neglect and hardship. Otto still has faith in people and his sweet little spirit shines for those who are kind to him. He perks up when offered a tasty treat and will come up to those he knows with his little tail wagging a mile a minute. Otto is a smart boy and is excellent inside the home. He gets along fine with other dogs and is never a problem. Otto appears to be content with the simple things in life. He is so appreciative of a nice meal and a warm bed. He will thrive in a home where he is kept safe and secure and where he can trust in the love and stability of his environment. He is not recommended for children because he is very tiny and gets scared easily. Otto is an affectionate boy and his bright brown eyes don't miss a thing. He is the ultimate rescued pet and will be yours, truly and devoted to you forever if you show him affection and gentle kindness. Otto was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter. He is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Otto’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Otto is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
