Cleopatra was kept in a cement enclosure with no bed, toys or bones, and no one cleaned up after her, so there were lots of flies that ate away at her ears, which are now healing. Cleopatra is discovering what it’s like to be properly cared for by her foster mom. She LOVES walks and anything soft, and enjoys stopping to smell the world. She is extremely grateful and loves sleeping in a dog bed. She is super smart and a fast learner. She wants to please and will listen when corrected. She really wants to be part of a family and likes other dogs. She has not barked once since she was rescued, while she used to bark and cry consistently while in the cement enclosure. She has not chewed anything except bones with glee as she patiently waits for her forever home. She is sweet as sugar and deserves a new life surrounded by love.
