Almond's Story...
Almond and her littermates were surrendered to us after their mother was hit and killed by a car. These little pups are an awesome mix of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Dachshund....how much cuter could you get? They are all very social pups who love to play and be held. They all do well with other dogs and cats but would do best in a home with older children (only because of their very small size). They were born 9/16/14 and have all been spayed/neutered. If you are interested in adopting one of these pups please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org to download an app then email it to us at goofyfootrescue@gmail.com - All of the pups are in foster care in West TN and will be transported once an adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Almond, a Southington Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Dachshund for sale in Southington, or seeking a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Dachshund breeders who help with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
