Biggs's Story...
Biggs is 8 mos old. This guy weighs 41 lbs. He needs to gain some weight. He is a charmer. Very outgoing and has to meet and greet everyone he sees. LOL. He is very very outgoing. When we got him he got in the car sat on the truck divider and laid his head on our shoulder as we drove. He is an instant love! Very charismatic personality. He has made me fall in love with this breed. A lucky family who will spend days and years with this awesome little man. He is very young and playful. I want to find him a home that will truly cherish and adore him. He would make such a great therapy dog. He makes everyone smile. When he was neutered and we walked out of the clinic he had to stop and tell everyone hi. Everyone laughed and thought how adorable he is.... they are right. He thought he was in some kind of parade. This guy is a keeper. If only I could have one more... lol. Call 530-777-8550

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biggs, a Yuba City Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
