Ellie, like her sister Dory, is a shy cat who will insist on hiding for a while when she arrives in her new home. She will come around fairly quickly once she learns that her new home is quiet and comfortable. A few treats can't hurt either.
When she does come around, she is vocal, affectionate, and very playful. She spends most of her time napping, rolling around with her toy mouse, or cuddling and grooming her sister Dory.
Dory and her sister Ellie may have come from a hoarding situation as kittens. Unfortunately during that time they had developed some pretty bad dental issues that seemed to be caused by genetics. At a year old they've already had to have a few teeth pulled! Their new owner will have to be willing to go the extra mile for these girls' mouths, with a vet-recommended dental diet and periodic cleanings/check ups.
Ellie is her sister Dory's rock. They're a bonded pair, and will need to be adopted together. They cuddle and play and generally comfort each other in uncertain times. Ellie is a bit shy, but much more confident than Dory, and will be the first to cuddle with you.
Ellie is a sweet little cat who needs a child and dog-free home that is quiet with owners who are experienced at reading signals and are able to be patient and gentle while she and her sister Dory come out of their shells.
