Yumi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Yumi's Story...
Yumi is a little terrier/chi mix, maybe. She looks big in the pics, but he only weighs about 12 pounds...don't think she will get much larger. She is 5 months old at 12/1 and quite an affectionate girl. She is doing very well with leash training and crate training. She loves to play and cuddle as well. She was a stray who would love to have a family of her own to play with and curl up on the couch with! Quite a cutie!
Plays well with other small-medium dogs and loves people of all ages.

The total adoption cost of $285 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport ($185), spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a pre paid registration($100). The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yumi, a Allentown Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
