Trudy's Story...
*** I see and hear with my heart ***

Hi! My name is Trudy, and I am a sweet, old, five-pound Chihuahua lady with a soft, white and tan coat. I have been saved from the City shelter, and I am looking for my retirement home.
I am very easy-going and I couldn’t hurt a fly. All I ask for is a soft bed, good food, and to be held every now and then. I might not be able to hear or see the world around me, but I sure can feel it, and I can feel love and safety. That is all I would love to have, for the rest of my life.

I can share my home with any kinds of animals. I don’t bark, I am non-demanding, and I would love to be a quiet, grateful presence in your life.
One of my favorite hobbies is making my bed; I can just keep doing it forever, before I go sleep. My foster mom thinks it’s very funny.

Please consider opening your heart and home to an senior like I am!
I am being fostered in Queens, NY.

To meet me please fill out an application at http://poshpetsrescue.org/applications/ or email mslondonspets@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy, a Long Beach Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
