Lou's Story...
If you are looking for a handsome, playful companion perhaps you should consider Lou. He is a 7 week old mixed breed puppy; his mother is a beautiful lab and his father a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. This is a really good mix as both breeds have sweet dispositions and make great family dogs. Since Lou already weighs almost 12 pounds he will be a large dog when he's fully grown. He is started on his vaccinations and has been wormed; you can see he is a very healthy puppy. He will make a wonderful, loyal companion; if you are looking for a new family pet Lou is a pup you should consider.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lou, a Bartonsville Labrador Retriever/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppy from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog rescue.
