Indiana Bones's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This young boy is looking for adventure at every turn and would love for you to discover just how much fun he is. He is very sweet and lovable and full of energy. He was just neutered and will be available as soon as he recovers.

Foster Update:
Young Indiana Bones might be just the dog for your family if you are looking for a fun-loving, outgoing, happy Basset. Indiana is a playful fella’ who especially enjoys playing with other dogs. He is still a young boy and needs a fair amount of exercise. Indiana doesn’t particularly like going into his crate because he would much rather be with people; but, he is crated trained and house trained. He would be happiest in a family that could spend a lot of time working and playing with him. Indiana loves to romp and play; but make no mistake about it, this boy is also very gentle and loves to give kisses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indiana Bones, a Grapevine Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
