Sergeant (Sarge)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Sergeant (Sarge)'s Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sarge is a lover boy! He is a well behaved basset and gets along great with everyone, including kids and other dogs. He loves to give kisses, snuggle on the sofa and loves to sleep at the botton of the bed. He is becoming crate trained and is doing better every day. He does whine and bark abit when put in the crate, but soon settles down and does very well in it.

Sarge is housetrained, goes to the door when he needs to go out and is a very trustworthy hound. He can be left alone outside of his crate without getting into trouble.  He does great on a leash and loves to tak walks.

He would be a great companion, maybe for you......

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sergeant (Sarge), a Grapevine Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
