Rumpole's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rumpole's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Rumpole is such a sweet puppy!  He is still very much a puppy and loves to play and if you get him excited enough you'll hear his great big ole bark!  He's working on obedience traing and housetraining but this shouldn't be a problem for him since he's super smart.

Rumpole gets along really well with cats and other dogs. He's can't wait to go to his furever home.

Update 4/15: Rumpole has been doing well and his separation anxiety has decreased significantly. He's also a big fan of his house (or crate) and he likes to take naps daily in it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rumpole, a Grapevine Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
