Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Wes I am a Black Labrador Retriever/ Golden mix. I 'm a gentle shy boy but once I get to know you I love your attention and just want to snuggle. At my foster home I live with a Lab/Doberman and 3 cats and love to play with my foster brother and even like the cats too. I am house trained as long as you don't leave my food down when you go out if there is no-one to let me out. My foster has two grandchildren ages 1 and 5 and I am a well behaved boy around them. I don't chew anything but my toys and bones. My foster mom tried to crate me at first when she would leave but she doesn't anymore because it caused me anxiety. I do fine without being crated so I get the run of the house now. Wes was found living outside around an abandoned lot and was heartworm positive. He has undergone his treatment and is ready for adoption. Wes will need regular exercise and a home where he is not left alone for long hours and would do well with another dog for companionship.
