My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

* * * ADOPTED! * * *
Éamonn is an adorable. young Beagle boy with a fun-loving personality and playful nature. Éamonn is 2 years old and weighs about 25 pounds. He is current on vaccinations, heartworm neg., neutered, crate trained and microchipped. He is working on becoming reliably housetrained and will need reinforcement in anew home.

Éamonn gets along well with other same-sized dogs and enjoys running and playing with his foster siblings in the fenced backyard. He doesn't seem to be interested in the house cats in his foster home, but like most Beagles will instinctively chase almost anything that runs. However, dog-savvy felines that stand their ground need not be afraid.

Eamonn enjoys going for walks and is well-behaved on a leash. Of course he has his nose to the ground, taking in ALL the scents, as he goes along! He's a playful, energetic Beagle that would be a wonderful companion for active adult or family.

Important: Éamonn is not at a shelter where you can go to meet him. All Safe Hounds Beagles are cared for in a loving foster home. Prospective adopters MUST submit an adoption application and be pre-approved before meeting a dog. Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be approved. We do not accept applications for specific dogs. Once an application is approved, we’ll begin a matching process—the right dog for the right home. Please click here to learn more about the adoption process and to download our adoption application.

If you are unable to adopt at this time, please consider helping us so that we may continue to help them. We have lots of hungry hounds to feed and are always in need of dog food and other items from our wish list as well as financial support to help us care for our dogs.

This Beagle requires an application and $250 adoption fee
