Henrietta is a very pretty tricolor female Beagle. She's about 2 years old and weighs approx. 26 pounds. Henrietta and her friends Lady and Peaches came to us from a shelter in Kentucky where they were all going to be euthanized. The shelter does their best to avoid euthanizing any adoptable pet but space is limited and they often have no choice. Fortunately, we were able to save them and bring them into the safety of our Rescue. Henrietta is current on vaccinations, heartworm neg. (on preventative), spayed, crate trained, and microchipped.

Henrietta gets along with other same-sized dogs loves to play with her foster siblings in the big fenced yard. She also enjoys going for walks and walks nicely on a leash. She is friendly and outgoing and loves meeting new people along the way.

Important: Henrietta is not at a shelter where you can go to meet her. All Safe Hounds Beagles are cared for in a loving foster home. Prospective adopters MUST submit an adoption application and be pre-approved before meeting a dog. Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be approved. We are unable to accept applications for specific dogs and cannot guarantee the future availability of this or any dog listed. Once an application is approved, we’ll begin a matching process--the right dog for the right home.
