Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trace is a happy little man who would love to become your new best friend! He is playful and active, but also loves a good nap on the couch. Trace is a snuggly shar pei, estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old. He was picked up as a stray already missing a leg, but it doesn’t slow him down!
Trace has excellent house manners, and knows sit, down, and leave it. He needs a little more work on his recall, but is getting much better with some yummy treats as a reward! Trace also walks decently on a leash, however it is best that he is walked in a harness or a flat martingale. His head is a little smaller than his neck, so he can slip off his normal collar pretty easily. He also crates nicely and is content to hang out in the crate during the day when he is alone. At night, he loves to stay in the bedroom with his person, and he will stay on a dog bed next to the bed all night.
Trace is great with other dogs, and loves all people that he meets. He may be ok living with a dog savvy cat, but if they run he would love to give chase.
Trace would love to find a family to lavish him with the attention he craves! If you think you might be his forever family, please inquire within!
