My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Punkin and my best friend is Peanut. We are a bonded pair of Eclectus parrots and we must be adopted together. I was born on October 19, 2008 and Peanut was born on July 31, 2005. Yes, I date an older man, don’t judge! We are both friendly birds who give kisses and will step up for anyone. We are also very quiet and we are just fine with other pets in the home and we even like kids. We both like to take showers and we love shredding toys. We LOVE LOVE LOVE chop and we also like almonds, pecans, and walnuts as treats. Peanut will do anything for a treat – he is such a suck up (eye roll). He will follow you around until he gets the treat, he can also be a bit mischievous and has been caught eating homework and trying to get into things he should not – so you have to watch him. I, of course am the perfect lady though, I mind my p’s and q’s! Peanut does like to talk and he can say Peanut, Birdie, Pretty Bird, Are you a good boy, Hmmmmmmm, Apple, Whats the matter, Good Morning, Bird over there, Whatcha doing, Hi there, Hello there, Step Up, Come here, and the list goes on and on, he just loves to be the center of attention! As you can see we have both chosen to be partial nudists. While we just recently came into rescue, we have not yet stopped plucking, but our foster Mom is working on that with us. Our foster Mom says we are wonderful birds though and we would really love for you to come and meet us very soon!
If you would like to welcome this gorgeous pair into rescue, you can send them a gift from their amazon wish list at: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/3TABA3LRLVZ2F/ref=cm_wl_rlist_go_o?
