Lawrence's Story...
Wow, is this male a handsome fellow! Please let me introduce you to Lawrence. He is a young black male lab mix around the age of 1 year old. He was a surrender to Lucky Lab because his owners just didn’t want him anymore. This young male has a special tenderness about him and believe he would be absolutely great with children. Lawrence is a dog who is obedient and can be trained… already knowing basic commands of “sit.” Did I mention he is already house and crate trained!! Lawrence is also good with other dogs. We are not sure about kitties but can be cat tested if wanted. He is fully vaccinated including rabies, neutered, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. If you feel Lawrence is your next best friend or family member, please complete an application and put Lawrence in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lawrence, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
