Here's what the humans have to say about me:
General is now in a foster home after a long road from a kill shelter in Louisiana, and is enjoying life to its fullest. His foster says he is so smart that she almost believes he is understanding everything she is saying to him. He has been taking full advantage of his new surroundings--from running like the wind on the property to taking dips in the pond. He negotiates steep stairs easily and plays willingly and genially with the other foster dogs.
this wonderful boy is crate trained and housebroken. General is approximately 4 years of age and weighs about 60lbs. His specialty, though his foster won't allow him to do it to her, is to jump up and wrap his paws around your waist. He loves to give hugs this way. He does it gently but he knows he is not always allowed to do this, however. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body and is the perfect dog for someone looking for a smart, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to please his "human." If you want to adopt General, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Full vetting included in his $325 adoption fee. Transport up north is $185. Let's get General to his forever home for the holidays!
