PUPPY MAIZIE's Story...
Maizie is a 10 week old, Cattle Dog mix, extremely well behaved for her age. She will use the newspaper or go outside to potty, is quiet during the night, and has an endearing habit of gathering all the puppy toys together on her blanket. Maizie loves to be held and will follow you just about everywhere. She is a gentle puppy and does not nip or bite. She is loving and affectionate. She will do great with children of any age due to her smaller size, and has the cutest markings on her chest and curling tail. Her coat is short and soft with shades of brown which the camera does not pick up. She will likely grow to be around 40 pounds or so as an adult. She is an agile puppy and would do great as an agility dog and her desire to please. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY MAIZIE, a Salem Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Salem, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
