My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Redford and I am a Lab mix boy with a sturdy build, I’m full of intelligence and my foster mom says I have the face of an angel. I weigh 24 pounds and was born around 7/29/14. I'm very vocal and make the cutest sound when I yawn! My nature is to be protective of my home and the first day in my new foster home, I barked at the German Shepherd next door. I naturally protect my home and my family! I had a rough start in life, found with my 8 brothers and sisters outside with minimal protection in a lean-to in the countryside of Tennessee. I had very little contact with people and when I did, it wasn't good. I was so scared of people. I had never had a bath, never played with a toy, never felt the love of being held in someone's arms. But that's all over now. I'm playing with toys and I know that most people are good and love to pet me! I love to snuggle in your arms or sit beside you with my four paws on the floor. I am a little quirky, since I haven't been exposed to a lot of things. The bell on my foster mom’s back door made me bark at it! I couldn't figure it out, and I don't like noises just yet. So I'll need some patience adjusting to new things, but I learn really quickly! I have been in a foster home only 3 weeks so far and they say I will be well adjusted to all sorts of things by the end of the year. I just need some time and understanding. Not to toot my own horn, but I have never once had an accident in the house or in my crate…ever. I'm crate trained and I love treats! I sit for a treat when I come in from outdoors and then I take it and throw it in the air and play with it! Every time I do something right, I get a treat at my foster home! I can't wait to find my own forever family! Do you have room for me at your house? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
