My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Winston and as you can see, I am NOT a Golden Retriever. Often times people get us confused with them but in fact I am a pure bred Great Pyrenees. Most "GPs" are much bigger than me, I am only about 60 pounds so I am a "miniature GP". I am just about 1-2 years of age and my owner turned me into a high kill shelter in Kentucky. I am still scratching my head about it too - not really sure why. I was a really good boy. Luckily AGK said they would find me a home and off I went to Knoxville. So glad to get out of that place too, wow! Let's see - you want to know more about me, right? Well, I am good with other dogs, LOVE attention from people (a lot like a golden in that way). People also refer to GPs as "gentle giants", which really that is what I am except I am not giant. I guess I am a "gentle mini giant".
