Larry's Story...
Larry is a 10 week old Mutt. We really don't know which breeds, but he has very very long legs and long tail!

Larry is a typical puppy. He loves to play with other dogs, then pee and poo, then nap, then pee and poo, and he especially loves to eat, then pee and poo. He is working on house training, and this is something his adopter will need to continue with. Larry already knows the sit command though!

We will only place Larry in a home where the humans either work from home, can take him to the office, or can afford to send him to doggy daycare. Larry is much too young to be alone all day long.

The cost for neuter is included in the adoption fee.

If you would like to meet Larry, please email: penniesfordogs.org@gmail.com

For apartment dwellers, please double check your strata pet bylaws for weight & height restrictions before applying.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Larry, a Vancouver Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner puppy from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
