Sadie has been adopted twice. Her original owners adopted her from another shelter. They were older and she was too hard for them to handle so they brought her to us. Sadie loves to go for rides so one day when she went for a ride to the vet's with me she jumped out of the Tahoe and into another woman's back seat. She sat there so proud and grinning and the woman fell in love with her. She adopted her right then and there. Sadie had two issues at her new home. The owner had Yorkies and Sadie and one of them clashed. The other problem was that Saie would climb over the fence if the owner left. So she was returned to us. She is not a dog for first time dog owners. It takes her a while to settle in but once she's made herself at home she's a good girl. When she first came back she would jump on people and if you were in her way she would just mow you down. That has stopped and she is much better behaved. She plays with some of the other dogs and others she just ignores. I don't recommend her to anyone with small dogs or children. But if you have an active lifestyle Sadie is just the dog for you.
