Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Big fan of: Other playful dogs, people of all ages, tennis ball fetch, learning new commands, chasing squirrels, long walks and runs, cold weather, durable chew toys, and any type of exercise!
Not a fan of: Riding in the car–sometimes Demitria gets car sick. Typical to her breed, she also has a sensitive stomach so a plain, consistent diet is key to keeping her feeling her best. She also likes to chase small animals so Demitria needs a home without cats.
A little more: Demitria came to PAWS as a stray from Animal Control and was quickly adopted as a puppy. However, when her family had a baby, they no longer had time for a high-energy dog like Demitria, so she is once again searching for her forever home. Because she has lived in a home before, Demitria is already crate-trained, house-trained, and good on leash. She knows a number of tricks too! Demitria has been diagnosed with epilepsy, but luckily it is well-controlled with a daily medication. It doesn’t affect her lifestyle and she can do anything any other dog can!
Dream home: Demitria is looking for adopters who have the time to exercise her. This active girl would love to be adopted by a runner or someone with a backyard!
