George's Story...
Hi my name is George. I'm an 8 year old pitbull. I love kids so much so if you have kids that is a plus for me, if not that is ok too because I really love all people. I prefer my friends be only female dogs, I'm a bit of a ladies man!! I am completely house trained and never have an accident in my kennel. I'm very low energy and just love to sleep and be beside you. I had a bit of a rough start in life, my "owners" kept me chained for 8 years but you would never know that about me. Please consider giving me a forever home!!!

If you are interested in giving George a wonderful home, please contact us via email at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com.

Adoption fee is $175 for dogs and $125 for cats. This includes age appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies vaccination, and microchip. All dogs will be tested for heartworms and all cats will be tested for FIV/FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Overland Park Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
