Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boo is a 2 1/2 year old brindle male whose moderate racing career ended with a badly broken leg. His small dog status is unknown, but he would need work to live with cats. Boo has undergone surgery and will be available after his rehab and neuter surgery.
FOSTER UPDATE:
Boo came to us with a badly broken leg that required surgery. He also spent a long time at VSCOT overcoming complications. Boo was a tail-wagging, face licker, even while he was still undergoing treatment and not feeling his best. Boo is definitely going to be a "people dog" who will want to curl up in your lap on the sofa. He will be ready for adoption as soon as his leg heals.
Boo is a great foster dog. Because he's still on pain medications, he is very mellow. Boo is happy sleeping on a dog bed, but prefers the bed be close to his people. Boo is very friendly and well adjusted, exhibited no fears or adjustment issues.
When Boo isn't on his pain meds, he's an active boy who loves playing with toys and exploring everything. He is going to be a fun, loving companion.
