My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amelia is a sweet and sassy cat with a very fun personality! Amelia has lots of spunk and is sure to give whomever adopts her lots of love and lots of laughter. Amelia is very social and outgoing - she loves being around people and just hanging out. She is playful but also sweet, as she enjoys being petted and given attention.

Amelia came to us all the way from Washington DC! One of our clients happened to find her as a sickly stray living on the city streets with her kittens. He couldn't bear to leave her to unknown fate so he brought her and the kittens back to Michigan! Amelia's kittens were quickly adopted out and we hope sweet Amelia will get her turn soon as well.

Amelia does have some allergy issues so she takes a couple of different medications to keep her comfortable. Her meds are inexpensive and she is a good girl about taking them, so hopefully that won't deter someone from giving this very deserving cat a home. Other than her allergies, Amelia has no known health issues. She's been spayed, FELV/FIV tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and is current on parasite prevention.

Amelia is estimated to be around 2-4 years old. She will be happiest as an only cat, but should do well with dogs and children. She could likely adjust to living with another cat that respects Amelia's space and keeps it's distance from her. Amelia would love to meet you today!
