found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
One day her foster mom noticed her looking uncomfortable and had one of our staff come check on her. Soon Starburst was being rushed in for an emergency C-Section! Luckily, all 4 kittens were delivered successfully. After such a demanding surgery, Starburst wasn’t feeling up to nursing and rejected her kittens at first. Luckily after 2 days of round the clock bottle feedings for the kittens, momma Starburst decided she was feeling motherly and wanted her babies back! She was an excellent mother and all 4 kittens turned out healthy and well socialized. Mom and kittens stayed in their foster home getting lots of love and attention until the kittens were about 10 weeks old and ready for adoption. All four kittens found homes within a few days. Their lovely momma has been here for a few weeks now though and is hoping her turn to be adopted comes soon.
Starburst is estimated to be around 3-5 years old and is a sweet, easy going girl. She enjoys laying by the windows, alternating bird watching with napping. She likes being petted and fussed over. Starburst should do well with other calm, mellow cats and will likely adjust well to quiet dogs also. She would prefer a home without loud or rambunctious dogs or children.
Starburst does have some arthritis from what appears to be an old wound that healed itself without any medical intervention. She definitely suffered some type of trauma – possibly even being hit by a car. She doesn’t let her arthritis get her down though, and a joint supplement daily seems to keep her feeling pretty bouncy.
Starburst has been spayed, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated, has had fecal testing, and is current on parasite prevention. She’d love to find a home soon – please come meet this great cat!
