My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Cher. I'm about 3 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was originally surrendered here to the pound in December 2014 (with 2 other dogs) after my owner was incarcerated.
It was said by his family members that he was maybe not the nicest to us all, so it was better that we ended up here to find our new homes.
I got lucky and was adopted within just a few weeks. I had it made there. Someone was home with me all the time and I loved it. Well, things changed and I started having to be left home alone while my owners went to work... Needless to say, I didn't like being left alone. They didn't have any other dogs or anything to keep me company so I would tear things up while they were gone.
I will need to be kept in a heavy duty dog crate while my new family is away so I don't chew up anything at my new house. The folks who had adopted me, did try a crate but it wasn't a heavy duty crate and I busted right out of it. Once I know I am unable to get out, I don't try (like here at the pound, I stay in my kennel fine and don't try to escape at all), but I WILL test it to see if I can and if I can, I will get out...
I am fully housebroken and I'm an angel while you're home with me. Really, I'm so good you wouldn't even know.
I know some tricks and basic commands. I get along good with other dogs.
If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER APRIL 28, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
