Tonka is a dog who had a rough start. His 'puppyhood' included malnourishment, then abandonment at the shelter with his 2 sisters, Tori & Tina. Tonka is seven years old and has never had a home of his own. He is being offered as a permanent foster. He recently had spinal surgery, and as you can see he is doing great. However, because he will never have a perfect back, and people are reluctant to adopt a dog (no matter how wonderful) who has a health issue, AALOC will pay his vet bills if you will give him a home, love him and care for him. Please consider Tonka. He is really a sweet, loving, playful dog. He deserves to have his own someone to love.
