Enya's Story...
Hi my name is Enya. I'm a sweet border collie/ lab looking for a home. My siblings and I were almost dumped out in the middle of nowhere, but a rescue lady convince the people that had us to hold onto us until she could find a rescue that would take us. She found as one and we have been with our foster mom for a while. Even though I had that rough start, I still like people, and love the attention I get from them. I'm really looking for my very own family. One who will take me on long walks, teach me how to play, and allow me to be part of the family. I will be ready to come on Dec 21, at which time I will have three of my puppy shots, kennel cough shot, been fixed and dewormed. So won't you please let me be part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Enya, a Staunton Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
