Spike's Story...
Spike is a gorgeous 8-10 year old lab mix with one brown eye and one blue eye. He weighs 63 pounds and is a very gentle loving boy. He is neutered, micro chipped and current on vaccinations. He is potty trained. He has an absolute WONDERFUL Disposition and loves EVERYONE. He is well behaved and just about the perfect pooch and wants a FOREVER family of his own.

His owner couldn't keep him anymore and took him to the pound. On his last day to have a chance at finding a home, we rescued him. He loves walks and is a well mannered boy who would be great in a family environment. He has so much love to give; he will be your best buddy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Scottsdale Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
