Lucky's Story...
Ok all of you out there in internet land, my name is Lucky and I'm currently looking for my new best friend. Friends is what I'm great at and I'm a well rounded and open minded sort of dog (which you'll already know if you've previously been "lucky" enough to have a Golden in your life) and I love everyone. I get along well with animals of all sizes and I'm non-confrontational (fighting is for cats and other lower life forms). I would very much enjoy a home with an active family that likes to play a lot and that has a big fenced yard for me to explore. I'm still a rather young canine at only two years old and I've got plenty of energy to keep a jogger company or to entertain the kids. I'm slightly embarrassed to say that... well... I'm not house broken. *Sigh* I've been outside my whole life and would ADORE being able to keep you company on your couch and hear Christmas music and taste test those cookies you're going to be making (hint hint) but I will need an owner who is willing to work with me so I can learn how to "hold it" in the house. I'm a very smart boy and want nothing more than to make my people happy so it shouldn't take me long to learn. If you think you can handle this much handsome in your life you should seriously hit me up! I'm in foster in west Tennessee but my rescuers adopt out nationwide.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Greenville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Greenville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Greenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
