This happy guy is Bobby! Bobby is so happy because after a very long stay at a shelter where his future was looking dimmer by the day, Bobby was rescued and placed in one of our awesome foster homes! Bobby is 10 years young but, shhhhh, don't tell him that! You would never know this boy's age because he acts so young and vibrant! Bobby is super playful and loves to be active and take long walks. He is great with other dogs and loves to spend time in his foster family's yard, checking out the sights and smells. Bobby is an easy fit into almost any home that will give him plenty of love! About Lilo's Promise Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lilo's Promise Animal Rescue is a group of dedicated volunteers who provide love, veterinary care, obedience training, socialization and safe housing for homeless animals. Our focus is high risk pit bull type dogs in our local shelters. Pets taken into LPAR will stay with us until their forever homes are found, no matter how long that may be. We believe no matter what the breed, background, age, or disability, all animals deserve a second chance or as we prefer to say, "A new beginning". Each animal we rescue has a special place in our hearts. Our goal is to make the best match possible for both the pets and those looking to adopt a new family member. Lilo’s Promise conducts community educational programs emphasizing the importance of spay/neuter, obedience training, bite prevention for children, BSL, and the joy of adopting a homeless dog or cat.

Lilo’s Promise is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization

Our Adoption Process...

Please read the following adoption policies and guidelines before applying for a dog for adoption:

Adopters must be at least 25 years old.

Interested adopters are required to complete an Adoption Questionnaire prior to setting up a time to meet our dogs for adoption.

All current/previous pets in your home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Provide 2 personal references.

Provide your veterinarian’s information (if you have a current pet and veterinarian or have owned a pet within the past 10 years).

We require landlord name and phone numbers for all renters interested in adopting.

A home visit is required as part of the adoption process.

LPAR has the right to deny any application. For example: certain dogs may require a fenced in yard, homes on main roads may or may not be considered, certain dogs will not be adopted to families with young children.

An adoption fee is required. All pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative and on flea/tick preventative.
