Maybelline's Story...
Maybelline is one of the three full coat blacks that came into our rescue around the same time as Dolly and Mickie. She was quite scared when she came but has really come a long way. She is an absolute doll of a girl. Playful and fun. She appears to be a year old or just under. Maybelline loves to use her nose, especially looking for frogs but probably doesn't have a strong enough temperament for a working dog, just play. She is a cuddle-bug but has a lot of energy. An above ground fence is required and her adoption fee is $250.00. An application can be found at http://southcentralbloodhounds.org/available.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maybelline, a Fayetteville Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Fayetteville, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Fayetteville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fayetteville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fayetteville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fayetteville paves the way for another one to be saved.
